Yes. Sallus Fire Retardant is 100% non-toxic and transparent after drying. It can be applied to curtains, upholstery, wooden shelves and any porous indoor surface.

Is it safe for children and pets?

Completely safe. The water-based formula is made with natural ingredients, biodegradable, and registered in compliance with the REACH regulation. It has been certified as non-toxic under rigorous OECD (201, 202, 207, and 208) ecotoxicity testing. However, we recommend storing Sallus Fire Retardant out of the reach of children and animals, and it must not be ingested.

How often do I need to reapply?

How often to reapply depends on how exposed the surface is. We recommend reapplying at least one even coat of product whenever the surface has had prolonged exposure to the elements.
