Thermo-Responsive Technology
Sallus Fire Retardant uses a water-based gel formulation that reacts to temperature. Under normal conditions, the gel remains inert and transparent on the treated surface.
When exposed to high temperatures, the gel undergoes a phase transition — rapidly expanding to form an insulating layer that prevents flame spread and protects the underlying material.
This technology is fundamentally different from traditional ammonium phosphate-based retardants, which are toxic and harmful to the environment. Sallus Fire Retardant is based on natural and mineral ingredients, and biodegradable.
From Application to Protection
Application
Apply to the clean surface, undiluted. 1L covers 4m² on average.
Ready to Act
The product is ready to protect immediately after application, preserving the original appearance. The surface is ready for immediate use.
Safe Protection
Under normal conditions, the barrier is invisible and does not affect the treated material.
Thermal Activation
When exposed to flames, Sallus expands, forming an insulating layer that slows the spread of fire.
Step by step with the 1L Spray
Ready to use, no dilution. For complete protection, always apply evenly.
1.Shake
Shake the bottle well before use.
2.Open
Turn the trigger nozzle to the open position.
3.Apply
Apply an even coat to the clean surface.
4.When exposed to flame
When a flame hits it, the Sallus coat slows the spread of fire.
5.Clean
If you no longer need the protection, you can remove the product by scrubbing the area with plenty of water.
6.Refill
When the bottle is empty, move the trigger to the 1L Refill.
